it's been a while (this is cool.)

feat. tinder, jewish delis, and medieval pigs

hi.

it's been a little bit, but the combination of class + work + social media + this is cool caused burnout. it took me a very long time to come to terms with burnout, but now that classes are wrapping up, it's time to get back to do what i love most: reading longform articles. and boy, do i have a few for you:

i read this story maybe three months ago and i still think about it often. just fascinating to see how economies work in such different circumstances

well, this hits close to home

it's rare that i read personal essays, but i'm trying to get into it more. Davis' recounting of a decade on tinder and its failures is superb.

YES. YES. YES.

I love how on the internet, there's someone who knows too much about everything

You into acronyms? Or congress? Or the epidemic of congress acronyms?

no notes.

worth every word of reading — it's just, so wild.

BuzzFeed launched the internet and the wave of what it has become — but this article shows its demise wonderfully

click for the use of the word 'boondoggle.' stay for the best essay on the department of homeland security since it was started

stuff be cool. new stuff be cool too

that's all for today. hopefully i can do this more, because i genuinely love doing it.

thanks,

zev
